Lava is now offering 2-Year warranty on its smartphones and feature phones in India

Commenting on the launch of the 2-Year Warranty, Gaurav Nigam, Senior VP, Head of Product, Lava International said, "These are exciting times for us as we continue to gain a stronger foothold in the Indian mobile handset industry. We are presumably the first Indian mobile phone brand to launch 2-Year Warranty offer on such a wide portfolio of devices. This offer exhibits the confidence we have in the reliability of our products and the focus that we put in quality control at every stage of product development."

As per the company, its 2-year warranty offer which covers a wide range of products is the first of its kind in the Indian mobile handset industry.

Furthermore, the company has said that the 2-year warranty will be applicable to all future launches. Lava has also mentioned that any handset purchased after August 26 will have the 2-year warranty already activated with the product.

As for the standard warranty of 6 months on accessories and one year on the touch panel or LCD display it remains the same for both feature and smartphones. If you want to find which handsets are covered under the 2-year warranty offer, "it can be found on the Lava Mobiles' website," the company said.

More significantly, the company has assured that it has over 1000 service centers across the country. So consumers can easily visit any of these centers if there is any issue with the smartphone they have purchased. It will also be covered under the warranty.
