Xaiomi Redmi 4A to go on sale on Flipkart today

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently launched a new variant of its cheapest Redmi 4A smartphone in India. The new variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Priced at Rs 6,999, the device will be up for grab via flash sale at 12pm on Flipkart. As part of the sale, the company is also giving some offers to the buyers. Flipkart is offering extra 5% off to Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders.

By launching the Mi Mix 2 on September 11, Xiaomi is clearly aiming to get Apple’s pie of media attention.

Talking about the specifications, the Xaiomi Redmi 4A features a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's MIUI skin layer running on top.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes sans finger-print sensor. For imaging, the Redmi 4A has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus and LED flash. A 5MP front-facing shooter is also there. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 3,120mAh battery rounding off the spec-sheet.
