Samsung launches flexible U Flex headphones with Bixby integration

Samsung has announced a new pair of headphones – U Flex – and as the name suggests, the headphones are flexible. The headphones come in a bendable design and are light-weight, so they can be carried everywhere. The headphones are bendable up to 100 degrees, meaning they can be easily scrunched up and stored in small spaces. The headphones are designed in a way to help them retain their shape even when bent. However, Samsung does mention that the headphones will lose their shape or break if bent over 100 degrees and constantly.

The headphones come with an around the neck design and splash-resistant coating. While they cannot be used underwater, they can withstand occasional splashes. Coming to the earbuds, the buds are designed with dual speaker units – the first is an 11-millimeter woofer and the second is an 8-millimeter tweeter. Both work together to improve the quality of sound. As said by Samsung, “Combined, the speakers guarantee crisp, balanced sound across the entire frequency spectrum.” Samsung has also designed a Scalable Codec technology to help the earphones minimize disturbance from wireless sources like external Wi-Fi signals that interfere with Bluetooth reception.
