Google Home Mini speaker image and price leak
NEW DELHI: In addition to revealing the images and prices of the upcoming Pixel 2 XL and PixelBook, an image showing the rumoured Google Home Mini too has surfaced on the web. Shared by Droid Life, the smaller version of the Google Home will be arriving alongside the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and the PixelBook.
It has been mentioned that the Google Assistant-based speaker will be coming in three colour variants - Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral. The speaker will sport a circular design, shorter height than the Google Home and four LED notification lights on top.
Since it will have Google Assistant built-in, the device will be able to tell the user's schedule, remind them about tasks and answer queries using Google's search engine. The report says the device will cost $49. These speakers might not have a swappable bottom like seen with the Google Home. We'll know more about it on October 4.
Separately, Droid Life also posted images and prices of the Pixel 2 XL and the PixelBook. The Pixel 2 XL will be made by LG and will arrive in 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage. The 64GB model is said to be priced at $849 and the 128GB is said to cost $949. In the US, Google could also bring some offers on the new device. The Pixel 2 XL is said to cost $35.38/mo over 24 months, while the 128GB version could cost $39.54/mo as a part of the offer, says the report.
Also mentioned is that the PixelBook will come in Silver colour variant and in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage versions. The 128GB model is said to cost $1199, while the 256GB and 512GB model could be priced at $1399 and $1749 respectively. The additional Pixel Pen will cost $99.
