Nokia 2 leak reveals colour variants and design
NEW DELHI: Nokia until now has launched four smartphones this year with the latest one unveiled last month. Now rumours are rife that the company is all set to launch another budget handset. Likely to be called 'Nokia 2', the device has shown up in a leaked image. The image comes courtesy smartphone tipster Evan Blass (of EVleaks fame).

Blass has posted an image on Twitter showing the alleged Nokia 2 in two colour variants - Black and White. From the images, the models seem to sport a plastic back panel and big bezels at the front on all the four sides of the screen.

The Nokia branding with front-facing camera, LED flash and speaker grille is seen on top of the screen, while the area stays clean below the display. The volume and the power button can be seen placed on the right side. At the back there is a camera placed at the centre along with a LED flash just below it. Both are placed encapsulated in the pill shaped enclosure. A single speaker too is seen at the bottom corner speaker.
So far, all Nokia smartphones have come with near Stock Android OS and the upcoming Nokia 2 seems to be no exception. The image suggests that the budget smartphone will sport Stock Android OS with on-screen navigation buttons.

The image falls in line with the one that was uploaded on Baidu by a user in July. The leak also claimed that the handset will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor.

While Nokia 2 has made an appearance on the web, on the other hand the alleged 'Nokia 9' device has also shown up on Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing indicates that the handset will come with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, dual 12MP rear cameras and front-facing 12MP camera.

Some earlier reports also claimed that the handset may offer dual-SIM support, 5.3-inch QHD resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage and an IP68 dust and water resistant build.
