Samsung Galaxy X foldable smartphone gets certified again
A new Samsung phone with the model number SM-G888N0 has just received its certification from the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) based in South Korea.
It is being speculated that post-launch the smartphone will be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy X aka the foldable phone. Since it has already received its NRRA certification, the phone will be launched anytime soon. If you recall, the Samsung SM-G888N0 had earlier received its certification from both Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. However, it is not known why Samsung still hasn't made any announcement about the phone. Whatever the case is, it seems like the device will be launched in South Korea first before arriving in any other market. Talking about the features and specs of the Samsung SM-G888N0 or Galaxy X, it is expected to come with Bluetooth 5.0 and Android Nougat OS right out of the box. That being said, the Wi-Fi Alliance certification listing and Bluetooth SIG suggested otherwise. The smartphone was listed with Bluetooth 4.2 and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. Well, the listings are quite surprising since the Galaxy X foldable smartphone is a part of Samsung's flagship family. The foldable smartphone from Samsung is said to be launched in two variants; Galaxy X and Galaxy X1 under the codename Project Valley. There are rumors pointing out at a late 2017 or an early 2018 unveiling of this foldable smartphone. Most likely we will get to see the smartphone in the Q1 2018 and that the device will be launched in limited quantities of 10,000 units.
